About Me...

Hi there.  Welcome to Truth Be Told.  This is a full-throttle blog about my trials and tribulations as a mom of two young girls, where I speak openly and you can read about my true feelings.  I'm a no-holds-barred, take me or leave me kinda gal.  This blog features completely true and unedited stories to give you the best glimpse into my crazy life.  Here's a bit of background for ya:

Hannah is my dramatic and frilly four year old who enjoys reading and dressing up in her tattered tutu.

Natalie is my easy going, fun-loving two year old who loves music and idolizes her older sister.  Natalie happens to have Down syndrome and you will find much of this blog features moments that encompass her.

This will sound cliche, but my husband Ben is the greatest.  The greatest husband and the greatest father.  His sense of calm and laid back demeanor is the perfect blend to my type-A persona.  Hannah and Natalie love spending time with him, because anything goes.  Anything that mommy doesn't allow is fair game when I'm not around.  It just goes to prove the old adage,  When the cats away, the mice will play!!

Once Hannah came into our life, in 2009, Ben and I instantly knew we were blessed and felt that life simply could not get any better.  When Hannah was a year old, much to our surprise, we were elated to discover we were excepting again.  Fast forward to January 2011, when Natalie was born.  She changed our lives in an instant,  Hannah became a big sister and Ben and I became the parents of two beautiful little girls...blessed was an understatement.   Natalie literally made our family complete.
